New York Mets Autographed Pictures and Team Merchandise		 The New York Mets play in the Eastern Division of the National League. For years they played their home games at the famous Shea Stadium, but in 2009 they started playing at Citi Field.

They have been playing Major League Baseball since 1962. They Mets have played in  the World Series a total of 4 times and they have won twice.

Their first World Series Championship victory was in 1969 when they defeated the Baltimore Orioles in 5 games.

In 1986 they won their second World Series when they defeated the Boston Red Sox in 7 games.

The 1969 World Series victory earned the Mets the nickname “Miracle Mets”. Pitcher Tom Seaver played an important role in helping the Mets win the title that year.

Besides Seaver there have been several other star players on the team including Dwight Gooden, Nolan Ryan, Lenny Dykstra, Tom Glavine, Darryl Strawberry and Doc Gooden.
